This is a full day symposium to address current thinking on cybersecurity and best practices for mitigating risk in medical devices. These will include implants, wearables such as fitbits, and hospital equipment. The BioPharma Research Council is a nonprofit association for scientists across the many silos of biomedical research- industry, academic, nonprofit, government, and supplier labs and their teams. We work to nurture cross-silo communication in order to stimulate successful collaborations and partnerships. Founded in 2009 and based in NJ, we reach a community of about 10,000 scientists and engineers. Their ongoing programs include conferences, symposia, webinars, committees, and roundtables.
