Worrell Announces U.S. Expansion With Denver's Catalyst HTI
Global healthcare design, strategy and innovation firm, Worrell, Inc. announced it will join Kaiser Permanente, Medical Group Management Association, Delta Dental, Prime Health, University of Colorado, AngelMD and dozens of health tech startups in Catalyst HTI, a new Denver health-care innovation hub opening June of this year. Catalyst HTI is the first facility of its kind in the United States, designed to bring together stakeholders from across the healthcare market to foster collaboration and accelerate innovation.
Worrell, with a new presence in Denver, will open an office in Catalyst HTI when the building opens. The firm is taking advantage of the opportunity to collaborate with other health-tech industry leaders in developing creative solutions that will enable healthcare companies to thrive and transform their businesses.
“Worrell is uniquely positioned to engage with the blossoming healthcare community in Colorado,” said Derek Mathers, Director of Advanced Development at Worrell. “We are excited to join this growing list of leading health and technology companies and for the potential to share our research, design, engineering, and human factors resources with local startups and collaborate with other experts on the shared goal of improving healthcare.”
As one of the fastest growing technology markets, Denver is also becoming a favored location for many digital health and medical device startups from across the United States. Worrell’s goal with this partnership is to tap into the innovation culture and add to the growing tech economy in the ‘Mile-High City.’ With a rapidly growing health care innovation sector, Denver is an ideal location for Worrell’s unique expertise.
“This means providing a space and encouragement for established organizations, startups, advocacy organizations, academics and research institutions, and strategy companies like Worrell to work side-by-side to design, develop, test and bring to market cutting-edge products and therapies that will fundamentally transform healthcare as we know it,” said Mike Biselli, President of Catalyst HTI. “With the addition of Worrell and its vast experience designing some of the most impactful medical technologies in the world, we are connecting dots that have previously been disconnected.”
The 180,000 sq. ft. project is scheduled to be complete in June 2018.
