Handling and assembling or packaging micro-sized medical devices is far more challenging, and the solutions are different than those employed in making macro-sized parts.
MTD is FDA registered and all assembly and packaging is performed in an ISO Class 8 Clean Room environment. We equip every machine with a custom-made End of Arm Tool (EOAT) specially created for each part we produce, to allow for controlled and precise in-line handling, assembly, and packaging. There is not a single part at MTD that simply is ejected into a bin.
