The company offers a line of 22mm iron-core brush-commutated DC motors and gear motors with all the performance advantages of traditional coreless motors at substantial cost savings to OEMs. The design of these motors and gearmotors features an inexpensive and unique construction that reduces costs and promotes high performance to deliver more power for less money. These smooth-running and quiet 22mm motors and gearmotors offer long life for a wide range of applications, including medical and office-automation equipment.

The motors and gearmotors are available in two lengths (1.256 in. and 1.556 in.) and provide continuous torque output up to 5.3 oz. in. with speeds up to 8,000 rpm. These motors feature a 5-slot skewed armature and utilize bonded Neodymium magnets instead of conventional ceramic magnets found in other iron-core motors to promote enhanced operating performance.

One of the motor's new innovations is a standard cartridge brush assembly designed to reduce audible and electrical noise. This assembly further improves brush life compared with typical brush-commutated motors by maintaining optimum brush force throughout the life of the motor.

These motors can be customized with rear exiting leads or terminals, optical encoders, and other special component options to satisfy specific application requirements.
