This new technology dramatically increases blood flow to legs with poor blood circulation including diabetic foot ulcers, chronic ulcers, non-healing wounds, lower limb vascular disease, poor blood flow, imminent amputation, intermittent claudication, rest pain, critical ischemia, atherosclerosis, and distal bypass surgery. Below knee amputations on patients with diabetic foot ulcers have been avoided with this home treatment device. It applies compression to the foot, ankle and calf of legs with vascular diseases, including diabetic foot, that have compromised blood flow. Air Plethysmograph. This laboratory instrument quantifies the physiological components of chronic venous disease into outflow obstruction, valvular reflux and calf muscle pump function. It's also used to screen leg and subclavian DVT and measures arterial blood flow in ml/second.
