Macomb, Michigan – PTI Engineered Plastics was honored to host Judge Linda Davis and other staff members of Families Against Narcotics (FAN) at their facility on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. For the tireless efforts of FAN to eradicate drug addiction and its stigma, PTI presented Judge Davis with a check for funds collected through an employee raffle, and a matching corporate donation. Judge Davis discussed her personal involvement with FAN, and their most recent initiative “Hope Not Handcuffs.” This program is geared toward finding immediate treatment for people struggling with addiction who might otherwise be taken into police custody. Judge Davis believes that open and honest communication is the key to solving the drug crisis, where perceptions of drug addiction are often the greatest impediment to recovery.

Mark Rathbone, CEO of PTI, recognized the need for qualified rehabilitation centers, and employment opportunities that would enable recovering addicts to find meaningful work.

PTI is proud to support FAN and their efforts to educate the public and provide caring treatment for those addicted to narcotics.
