AdvaMed 2016: The MedTech Conference Issues Call for Panel Submissions

New Track Spotlights Human Resources in Medical Technology Industry

Washington, D.C. -- AdvaMed 2016: The MedTech Conference, the leading gathering of medical technology professionals in North America, has issued a call for panel proposals. This year’s conference will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center from October 17-19. The conference will bring together over 1,000 companies to collaborate in business development, capital formation, innovative technology showcasing, world-class educational opportunities and networking.

AdvaMed 2016 will feature 12 panel program tracks, organized into more than 30 educational panels at 75 minutes in length. These tracks include:  Business Development & Finance; Compliance Best Practices; Digital Medical Technologies; Emerging & Early-Growth Company Issues; Human Resources; In Vitro Diagnostics; International; Key Health Policies; Legal; Payment & Healthcare Delivery; Quality and Technology & Regulation.

New to AdvaMed 2016 is a Human Resources (HR) track, which will look at the needs and business challenges of the industry, including leadership and performance management for HR professionals, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and policy initiatives that impact businesses.

“Adding a human resources track expands the reach of the conference within the medical technology industry and will cover issues relevant to all companies, ranging from industry giants to startups,” said Ray Briscuso, managing partner and producer, AdvaMed 2016: The MedTech Conference. “I encourage all medical technology companies to consider submitting a panel session to showcase their thought leadership in Minneapolis at the most prominent industry event of the year.”

Panel submissions should be timely, relevant and educational for best practices. Applications should include a description and suggested expert panelists. Additional guidelines and a link to the submission form are available here. The deadline for submissions is March 15, and panel organizers will be notified of acceptance in May.
