Angioplasty Balloons

The company manufactures various configurations of angioplasty balloons as well as the world's thinnest and strongest heat shrink tubing for a wide variety of applications.

This technical data sheet features various configurations, shapes, sizes and styles of high pressure angioplasty balloons which are available, including conical, square, spherical, conical/square, conical/sperical, long spherical, tapered, "dog bone" style, stepped, offset and conical/offset, among many others. Balloons can be custom designed and produced with various combinations of styles of ends and bodies, to meet virtually any application or end use requirements.

This technical data sheet also lists the various applications for the company's high pressure balloons, including PTCA and PTA catheters, stent delivery, heat transfer catheters, photodynamic therapy, laser balloon angioplasty, cryogenic catheters, and drug deliver balloons, among others. The company's balloons are available in diameters from 0.5-50mm, with wall thicknesses from 0.0002-0.002 in. (5-50 microns), pressure from 15-400 psi (1-27 ATM) and in virtually any working length. Typical tensile strengths are from 30,000-60,000 psi. The company also has patents and patents pending for many unique balloon and catheter designs which are available for license.

The sheet also features information on coated balloons, specifically as it pertains to enhancing balloon performance. The company's balloons can be coated to provide a hydrophilic, hydrophobic, reflective or conductive surface.
