The Auto-Nozzle improves process repeatability and increases yield during the development and production stages of catheter products. Thermoplastic components are fixed into place, while a brass, automated hot air/cooling nozzle engages the component by means of digital timers and pneumatic slides. By omitting the manual positioning of tubing required with the traditional hot air station, the Auto-Nozzle provides catheter manufactures with process repeatability, increased yield and improves cost control. The company also manufacturers a Universal Auto-Nozzle designed to retrofit existing hot air stations.
