Intelligent Motion Systems, Inc.x Stand-Alone controller provides 1.5 axis of control or electronic gearing to make following external clocks or rationing a second axis simple for the users. It has a wide operating range (from 12 to 75 VDC), rather than being restricted to one voltage. The product incorporates a PLC approach to Motion Control with its modular design. Equipped with 12 standard isolated I/O, it can be combined with other accessory modules to expand system capability to include more complex control.
The isolated I/O Module provides an additional 12 isolated I/O for a total of 24 I/O that is software selectable to be inputs or outputs. The differential I/O module has six pairs of I/O that can be configured by software to be high-speed inputs or outputs. The differential I/O module can also be configured for an additional two clock pairs (for a total of three axes of sequential motion control), or two encoder inputs for position feedback or electronic gearing.
