Bergquist Company, The

The Bergquist Company is a privately held, family owned business started by Carl Bergquist in the 1960's. The company began by distributing electronic components in the upper Midwest and now consists of four main divisions which include the Thermal Products Group, Bergquist Switch, Electronic Components Group and Bergquist Touch Products. Headquarters, Research & Development, and Electronic Components are located in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

The Thermal Products Group 75,000 square foot manufacturing facility is located in Cannon Falls, Minnesota and employs 150 people. Thermal Products has additional facilities in Germany, the United Kingdom, Korea, Hong Kong and Bejing, China; and sales representatives in 30 countries to support worldwide growth. A new 40,000 sq.ft. facility in Prescott, Wisconsin, houses the Thermal Clad printed circuit board operations and employs 130 people. A new 130,000 square foot facility in Chanhassen, Minnesota has been selected as the location for Bergquist's new corporate headquarters and state of the art research and development facilities.

Bergquist's products are used by many industries worldwide including automotive, computer, military, aerospace, telecommunications, power supply and motor control. Bergquist invests considerable time and money in research and development. The headquarters facility houses an extensive developmental laboratory and engineering department where new products are researched, developed, and tested.
