There are a wide variety of materials to choose from when it comes to micro medical components. In some micro medical devices, bioabsorbable materials are needed to dissolve or absorb into the body, eliminating the need for additional surgeries and minimizing concerns about adverse effects. Secondary invasive procedures are not needed to remove these devices as the materials metabolize over time.
