Two control components—a Dosimeter and bacterial spore preparation in a sterile culture medium—reduce the possibility of false positives. After incubation, a color change from blue-green to yellow distinctly indicates a positive culture. The incubator incorporates a thermostatically, controlled 37°C incubator into a tabletop unit with interior dimensions of 10 x 7 x 8 in.
