Biometric Imaging Announces New CFO

Biometric Imaging Inc. (Mountain View, CA) has named John Harland as vice president, finance and chief financial officer. Harland was most recently chief financial officer and vice president, finance of Influence Inc., a manufacturer of incontinence devices, and Indigo Medical, Inc., a urology device company acquired by Johnson & Johnson.

Previously, he was chief financial officer of a number of medical technology companies he helped take public, including Cardiovascular Imaging Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CVIS) and Neurobiological Technologies, Inc. Biometric Imaging Inc. has developed a proprietary technology platform called microvolume fluorimetry. This proprietary technology platform provides rapid precise cell enumeration and real-time cell characterization in an easy-to-use standardized format.
