Comair RotronDC tubeaxial fan is designed to accommodate high performance airflow requirements, such as those of cellular base stations, power supplies, servers, and medical devices. It features the company's Feathered Edge, which allows air to escape from the outer edges of the propeller blades, thereby ensuring quiet, smooth operation. Its venturi is constructed with a die-cast zinc alloy, painted black. Its propeller is made out of a black polycarbonate and meets the UL94V-O flammability rating. The fan is also available with Therma Pro V technology, which allows the user to adjust thermal speed control, program a range of airflow needs and compensate for variations in power supply voltages. The fan is powered by a brushless DC motor, equipped with block locked rotor protection to prevent the motor from seizing due to overheating and polarity protection, which protects the fan if the hookups are accidentally reversed. Its automatic restart capability ensures that continuous operation will resume after power failure or overheating. The motor operates under standard 12, 24 or 48 voltages.
