Burr-Free Cutting

Burr-free cutting, grinding, lapping, and polishing of small diameter metal tube, wire and rod are available. The service offers length and diameter tolerances in the microns, parallelism and flatness less than a micron and surface finishes as smooth as one mirco inch. All metals, including stainless steels, cobalt alloys, NiTi and pure titanium, precious and refractory metals are processed for catheters, stents, readiopaque markers, cardiac pacing, diagnostic probes, electrodes, and all minimally invasive device applications. Operations include proprietary rotary abrasive cutting, double disk grinding, centerless grinding, lapping, wire straightening, and barrel, vibratory and centrifugal polishing. Cleanroom, multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning, camera vision inspection and automated dimensional sorting provide ultra-clean and ultra-precise parts.
