Burr-free cutting, grinding, lapping and polishing of small-diameter metal tube, wire and rod is available. Length and diameter tolerances can be held within the microns, parallelism and flatness within less than one micron, squareness in the minutes and surface finishes as smooth as 1µin. All metals are processed for catheters, stents, radiopaque markers, cardiac pacing, diagnostic probes, electrodes and minimally invasive device applications. Operations include proprietary rotary abrasive cutting, double disk grinding, centerless grinding, lapping, wire straightening and barrel, vibratory and centrifugal polishing.
