CardioDynamics Announces the Appointment of Ronald R. Taylor

CardioDynamics International Corp. announced that Ronald R. Taylor, founder of Pyxis Corp., has been appointed to its board of directors, increasing the board to ten members.

Taylor founded Pyxis Corp. in 1987 and served as its chairman, president and chief executive officer until 1996 when Pyxis Corp. merged to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardinal Health Inc. Pyxis Corp. was a pioneer of health care automation and information management services as well as pharmacy management services to hospitals and alternate care facilities.

Before founding Pyxis, Taylor was vice president of international sales and vice president of operations for Hybritech Inc. and previously held several management positions with Allergan Pharmaceuticals. He currently serves as a director on the boards of Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Allelix Biopharmaceuticals, and as a director of VIA Medical Corp., SCS Corp., FluidSense Corp., Woodside Biomedical and MedicaLogic Inc.
