Cello-Pack Corporation

Cello-Pack Corporation began operations in 1948 as a produce bag manufacturer. We converted polyethylene rollstock into bags for the apple producers of Western and Central New York. The company added flexographic printing in the 1960's, and slitting in the early 1980's. In 1989, the company was sold to Gioia Management, a privately held holding company and moved into a modern, sixty thousand square foot facility. In 1992, we purchased Lustreprint, another Buffalo area converter.

We pride ourselves on being a full-service flexible packaging converter with the ability to assist and support our customers from concept to finished product. Industrial, baking, confectionery, snack food, fragrance, and dairy are examples of the markets we reach. Car-Freshner, Hallmark Cards, Kodak, American Safety Razor and 3M are part of our strong and diverse national and international customer base.

Cello-Pack prints both line and process designs. Our graphics/pre-press coordinators and digital artists will take an idea from concept to finished product. Details on submitting art work to us can be found on our Graphics web page.

Currently, we have five wide web presses and one narrow web press. These presses have the capabilities of printing up to eight colors. We are also in the process of installing a new 8-color press. You can read more about this press on the News page on our web site.

Our wide web adhesive laminator uses a water-base system that can handle complex multi-layer laminations, using substrates of polyethylene, nylon, polyester, polypropylene, and metalized films.

We also have three slitters to convert printed stock into rolls for our customer. One of our best is the Titan SR6, which is a high speed 60 inch wide slitter.

Our Converting department turns slit rolls into bags. Our bag making capabilities include wicketed, bottom seal, zipper, tape reclosable, and gussetted bags of all types.

Our Tour Team Members are available for tours of our facilities. The tour guide takes you on a visit to each department where the staff will explain their contribution to our manufactured goods.
