Charles River Acquires Tektagen

Charles River Laboratories has acquired Tektagen Inc., a contract testing company that provides biosafety and bioanalytical testing services.

According to a Charles River press statement, the acquisition will broaden Charles River's Contract Research program, which includes preclinical research services such as drug efficacy and biological screening studies.

Charles River Laboratories provides research animal models to the biomedical research industry.
