Commercial-Grade Parylene Coating System

The company offers a new commercial-grade vacuum deposition machine. The high-capacity PCS-2530CM is user-friendly and is designed for accurate, repeatable operation. Process monitoring is continuous, monomer pressure has closed-loop control, and a visual display shows pre-programmed process parameters. A chart recorder provides hard copy data of chamber pressure and vaporizer temperature. The internal chamber fixture rotates and the system can achieve deposition rates of up to 150 gm/hour. The system features low maintenance and easy access for maximum uptime.

Along with printed circuit boards, parylene is used in applications that include forming mandrels, stents, pacemakers, rubber stoppers, caps, and implantable wires. Parylene is an alternative coating to PTFE.
