Cox Automation has been in business since 1965 conceptualizing, designing and building custom automation. Our experience ranges from building and integrating assembly cells and test stations to complex automation systems. Our specific capabilities include the following:
  • Automatic and semi-automatic assembly: Rotary index, in-line walking beam, continuous motion, carousel, synchronous and non-synchronous palletizing systems and in process testing.
  • Sophisticated test machines and stations capable of data collection, display and report generation:
    • Electrical (resistance, current, Hi Pot, continuity)
    • Pneumatic (leak, flow, regulation, vacuum)
    • Mechanical (dimensional gauging, feature presence, product functionality, torque)
    • Miscellaneous (temperature, life, calibration).
  • Special processing machines: from drilling, tapping, coining, riveting, and stamping, to precision media application, welding and soldering.
Cox features simplified and convenient interface screens and controls which afford the operator easy set-up instructions, fault clearing procedures, machine self diagnostics and part diagnostics;

Capabilities also include robotics, vision and laser integration, application of most PLCs and PCs for machine controls.

Accomplished in all appropriate programming languages, networking, operating systems, and database technology.

Operating diagnostics, aftership machine communications via modem, MOI Strategy, superior documentation, and familiarization videos are standard with each Cox machine - not costly additions.
