Crest Health Care Selects e-Business Software

Crest Health Care, a Minnesota manufacturer of healthcare parts and equipment, has selected an e-business software package from Minneapolis-based Fourth Shift Corporation. Fourth Shift's e-ERP Backbone will provide seamless connectivity between all areas of Crest's business including manufacturing, order-entry, product configuration, and financials.

Crest plans to incorporate web-based solutions and e-commerce storefronts for their customers, distributors, and OEMs (business-to-business and direct-to-consumer), leveraging Internet technology to provide better customer service and penetrate new markets.

"A major selling point for us was the ability to provide real-time order information over the Internet to our customers," said Warren Anderson, CEO of Crest Health Care.

Fourth Shift provides e-business solutions through its Enterprise Resources Planning and Complete Care software products and through its consulting and technology services.
