Canon’s SR Series Ultra Miniature Optical Encoder is a highly miniaturized and high-resolution optical encoder ideal for applications involving linear/rotary motion and speed control.
It uses an XY-Stage and turntable equipment to provide velocity and positioning information. The SR Series is simple to install and align, and features an easy retrofit to an existing system. The rotary or linear scale is available in film or glass. The optical encoder includes a 650nm LED light source and has a working distance of 1mm ±0.3mm.
Canon’s ability to customize gives the SR series of optical encoders the flexibility to operate in several application areas, regardless of sensor head design, output signal type, or customized interface requirements.
