Eastern Air Devices' new brushless DC linear actuator is designed for applications requiring high-speed, quiet operation and precise motion control.
The three-phase compact motor design and standard NEMA mountings are compatible with most servo amplifiers and controllers. An encoder and Hall-effect sensor allow for solid position control while providing high-resolution feedback. The bi-directional motor achieves rapid acceleration up to 3500 rpm with low torque ripple. Voltage is rated at 24 Vdc. A standard 8-in. lead screw produces linear force up to 60 lb with travel length less than 8-in.
