Deuterium Lamps for Blood Analyzers

Hamamatsu’s line of deuterium lamps feature excellent stability, a long lifetime, and high output brightness, making them an ideal light source in blood analyzers.

Deuterium lamps have excellent stability when compared to other lamp types such as xenon flash lamps, mercury xenon flash lamps, and xenon lamps. However, they also require a 20 to 30 minute warm up period. This is an important consideration when choosing what type of lamp to use in blood analyzers.

If you’d prefer a lamp for a blood analyzer that doesn’t require a 20 to 30 minute warm up period, check out Hamamatsu’s xenon flash lamps.
