The NC-stat (Nerve Conduction) instrument is used for the rapid detection and assessment of repetitive stress injuries of the hand and wrist, such as carpal tunnel syndrome. The product provides objective and accurate information in a form that is designed for convenient use by hand surgeons, physicians, and physical therapists at the point of care. It assists in the evaluation of upper extremity disorders and monitoring patient progress during therapy.

Product Genesis and NeuroMetrix worked together to develop a product design that corresponds to the needs of the user and the patient. The extensive research conducted generated from both customer groups helped the designers develop a product that is non-invasive, aesthetically appealing, affordable, easy to read and operate, and portable.
