Digispense 2000

IVEK's DIGISPENSE 2000 system provides small volume precision liquid dispensing using a positive displacement ceramic piston/cylinder pump head module. The DIGISPENSE 2000 system consists of three basic modules: the controller, the actuator and the pump. A microprocessor based controller is used to drive a linear actuator. The actuator is custom manufactured to deliver extremely repeatable motion and when combined with the precision manufactured ceramic components, 0.1% volumetric repeatability can be obtained. Other features include: high purity Al2O3 piston/cylinder, digital volume adjustment, automatic priming, bubble clearing, low dead volume, low liquid shear, resistance to abrasives and a LCD display of parameters.

The DIGISPENSE 2000 is capable of volumes from 2 nanoliters up to a maximum of 2 milliliters depending upon the options selected. Additionally, the stepping motor and lead screw combination allows the unit to have a pulse-free linear flow profile, the magnitude of which is digitally selected through the front panel operator interface.

Applications include: diagnostic kit reagent dispensing, biosenser manufacturing. electronic manufacturing, mercury dispensing for light bulbs, membrane stripping for diagnostics, vial and tube filling, precision spraying, fragrance and flavor dispensing, and misc. R&D and manufacturing uses.
