visual inspection, or assembly of small parts. The VDM is
designed and human engineered to utilize patented
optical assemblies such as the Extended Depth of Field
(EDF) objectives. These optics replace and enhance traditional
microscope optics and optimize video display
performance. The VDM is not just another microscope with video
attached for viewing on a video monitor.
Some of the features of the VDM system are:
