Disposable Sensors
The platforms that we produce are Conductive Technologiesin nature. The normal operation of these sensors will indicate a change in state of either impedance, resistance, current flow or a thermal reaction. The sensor begins with an electrical circuit or a thermistor for temperature sensing. A catalyst or reagent is placed on this electrical circuit that has been custom tuned to detect certain chemicals, molecules, temperatures or toxins. When the reagent detects the presence of the biological by-product or chemical reaction that is desired, it will cause a change in conductivity, generate an electrical signal or cause a thermal reaction to take place. By attaching an instrument of your design, those changes in state can be detected. By the amount of the change in state, the concentration or amount of the desired detected material can be determined.
