In 1995, the Doyen range expanded with the acquisition of Bodolay Pratt's Medical Pouching, Surgical Glove Packaging, and Transdermal Patch Manufacturing machinery. In 1997, Doyen acquired Datum Ltd., a leading European supplier of Sterile Grade Pouching and Wound Care Dressing Fabrication machinery.
Doyen is well recognized throughout the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries for devising unique manufacturing solutions that increase production throughput and improve operational efficiencies. Doyen has successfully supplied machinery to leading companies such as Baxter Healthcare (Allegiance), Johnson & Johnson, CIBA, Smith & Nephew, Becton Dickinson, Scimed, Medtronics, Pharmacia and UpJohn, ConvaTec, Cordis, London Rubber Company, and Alza. Doyen's high rate of repeat business is due in large part to our unparalleled level of after sales service and support. One such example is Doyen's innovative offer of direct videoconferencing communication with our engineering, service, and spare parts departments.
Doyen Medipharm has state of the art manufacturing facilities in Lakeland, Florida and Norwich, England, totaling more than 30,000 square feet. Sales and service offices are located in Fairfield, New Jersey; Cambridge, England; and Kedah, Malaysia. A network of distributors, agents, and service organizations provides support for Doyen machinery around the world.
