The company, a manufacturer of engineered polymer cable carrier guidance tracks, continuous flex cables, and polymer bearings, offers the E-Band Energy Chain cable carrier. Used in cleanroom applications and high-precision automated equipment, its design eliminates particulation normally caused by the carrier and provides smooth performance throughout the carrier's travel.

The cable carrier is a departure from the standard Energy Chain design. The carrier links are attached to a continuous strip and snap together. The semi-rigid strip counters the "polygon" effect (the result of angular parts performing in circular motion) as the carrier moves through the bend radius, smoothing operation, even at extremely high cycles, and minimizing noise production for use in applications such as sensitive measuring equipment, printers, and plotters, among others.

Unlike other strip-based cable carriers, the E-Band has stop dogs which provide a set, finite bend radius to eliminate premature cable wear. This is accomplished by keeping the cables fitted in the carrier properly to prevent them from operating at a radius that is too tight and causes them to rub against the carrier surface. Giving cables inside enough room to bend freely, combined with the engineered polymer material and specific strip design of the carrier, assures the absence of particulation, making the carrier suitable for cleanroom applications, such as semiconductor equipment, wafer production and transfer machinery, microchip production equipment, and more.

The length and width of the carrier can be altered by cutting lengths of the strip and attaching as many links as necessary. This flexibility allows for last-minute application alterations and more widespread use of this product.

Other features of the E-Band include the split crossbar design of the E-Z Chain line from the company (cables can be pressed directly into the carrier through crossbars without any tools) for the fastest, easiest assembly, a stop dog design which also allows for additional strength in longer unsupported travels, and the ability to glide on itself for these long travels.
