As UV curing technology has evolved, it has become increasingly important to establish a method of measuring the total UV energy and irradiance of an UV curing system. The Electro-Lite ELC-300 Auto Ranging Radiometer measures the UV performance of both spot cure and production process systems.The Electro-Lite ELC-300 is a technologically advanced optical sensing system that measures irradiance in the 300-400nm wavelength, while rejecting others that are not relevant to the process. The measurements obtained by the sensing system is converted to digital form and displayed in liquid crystal readout as UV output. Degradation of UV lamps, light guides, filters and reflectors can cause decreases in intensity and create curing problems. The ELC-300 UV Radiometer is designed to provide the operator with instant feedback as to the performance of the UV system. The ELC-300 will also allow the operator to download stored measurements to a PC for system validation.
