Electrical Composites
Polygon electrical composites offer time-tested performance. They have superior arc track resistance and insulative capabilities. And they are designed from high strength and water-resistant material, so they can stand up to even the harshest rainstorms or snow squalls.
Polygon double insulation tubing surpass all electrical insulating requirements. In fact, each tube is tested at 5800 volts minimum to guarantee its dielectric integrity. Over the years, we've earned a reputation for producing cost-effective double insulative tubing that helps equipment work right the first time, and every time. That's why millions of our insulative tubes are in use around the world today.
MOTORS
Polygon manufactures fiber reinforced commutator rings and double insulated tubing for use in appliance motors and other electrical equipment. The commutator rings carry a temperature rating in excess of 200 degrees Celsius and are intrinsically non conductive. Polygon's braided double insulated tubing is designed for maximum strength and provides high torque strength in any direction. Also, by inserting the double insulated tubing directly into the motor assembly during the manufacturing process, Polygon helps keep your production costs as low as possible.
UTILITIES
The ability to stand up to the elements. That's what sets Polygon transformer spacers and double insulated tubing apart from the alternatives. Because we realize the damage that wind, rain and snow can inflict on electrical transformers, we've developed specialized braided composite material that undergoes a special impregnation process to insure optimum strength and dielectric performance. Polygon also manufactures all composite cross bars to address the critical demands of the circuit breaker industry. The composite cross bar is manufactured in a continuous manner for dramatic cost savings.
POWER TOOLS AND APPLIANCES
Why is Polygon double insulated tubing standard equipment in so many power tools such as hand drills, weed trimmers and shop vacs? It's simple. Polygon's tubing is braided for strength and has superior dielectric properties. And it's insulative properties have been demonstrated time and again through many years of testing. No wonder Polygon provides components for industry leaders like Black & Decker, Bosch and Milwaukee Electric. Dependable starting power. Proven protective features. Cost-effective manufacturing processes. All good reasons to select Polygon's composite double insulation tubing.
