Emerson & Cuming Opens New Microwave Products Facility

A 6,000 square foot, state-of-the-art processing facility for carbon loaded foam microwave absorber products has been opened in Randolph, MA by N/A The new facility augments existing company manufacturing plants located in Massachusetts and Belgium.

The plant meets the increased demand for microwave and RF absorption products resulting from the boom in telecommunications products worldwide. The company's processing facility has the capacity to produce 10,000 to 20,000 square feet per week of both sprayed and dipped carbon foam products.

Emerson & Cuming develops and manufactures Eccosorb microwave absorbing materials; Eccostock microwave circuit board and electric insulation materials; and Eccoshield shielding materials.
