Encore Medical Enters Biocomposites Market

Encore Medical Corp. (Austin, TX) announced that it has entered into a seven-year agreement with Biocomposites Ltd. of Stoke-on-Trent, England for exclusive U.S. distribution rights for synthetic bone graft substitute and orthopedic resorbables products.

The products included in the agreement are Stimulan calcium sulphate bone void filler, Allogran-N Hydroxyapatite bone graft substitute, an anterior cruciate ligament interference screw, a meniscal dart, and a suture anchor.

Market introduction of all these products is dependent upon FDA clearance.
