Ergotron, Inc.
Ergotron entered the computer market in 1982 when it patented a tilt/swivel stand for computer monitors. This product gained recognition throughout the industrialized world as the finest monitor stand. In 1987, Ergotron introduced a product line that utilized the tilt/swivel mechanism and newly patented, gas-powered arm technology to create Ergotron's innovative CRT Suspension System. This product allowed CRT equipment to be suspended above the user's work area, providing complete, single-handed adjustability to fit each user's needs.
Today, Ergotron's most popular product line is the LANSCAPE™ Organizer. This computer furniture system is used for file servers and monitors in Local Area Network (LAN) environments. Ergotron's LAN WorkCenter was the first product of its kind, and has blazed the trail for a thriving international industry. Initially developed for the Bank of America Corporation in California, it is now widely used by Fortune 1500 companies around the globe.
Ergotron's hottest new product line, Flat Panel Monitor ARMS, uses gas-spring technology and VESA Standard mounting to bring flat panel monitors to the point of need.
Ergotron is committed to an aggressive product development program through enhancement of its existing products and the introduction of new products to meet the needs of a growing customer base. Ergotron is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
