Heatron’s cartridge heating elements offer watt densities over 200 watts per square inch and a variety of lead configurations. They’re ideal for sterilization, blood analysis, drug delivery devices, or any other medical device that requires fast and efficient heat transfer.
Thermal controls are incorporated to reduce variations in temperature. As the previous paragraph suggested, these cartridge heating elements are ideal for a variety of medical applications. One such example involves an international manufacturer of kidney dialysis equipment using one of these cartridges with an internal fuse for over-temperature protection. The heater featured passivation and electro polish to inhibit sheath corrosion, low leakage construction for leakage current standards, and computer sterilization for tracking requirements.
