FDA Clearance Granted For Hypodermic Needles And Syringes
King Of Prussia, PA - Devon Medical Supplies, manufacturer of innovative and reliable medical products, announced it has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510K clearance to market its hypodermic and insulin syringes. The products will be exhibited at MEDICA 2005, the 37th World Forum for Medicine, in Dusseldorf, Germany from November 16-19.
"Devon Medical Supplies is committed to providing safe and cost-effective products for the medical community," says Barry Berler, Chief Operating Officer for Devon Medical Supplies. "Clearance to market our hypodermic needles and syringes is an exciting development, as it will allow us to provide healthcare workers with quality medical supplies. We are excited to share our technology with the industry at MEDICA."
The hypodermic needles are manufactured from superior-grade steel. A clear, latex-free polyurethane medical resin is used for syringe barrels. The breakable syringe plunger prevents reuse, protecting against the spread of blood-borne pathogens and infectious agents.
Insulin syringes are available in sizes .5cc and 1 cc, and hypodermic syringes are available in sizes 1cc, 3cc, 5cc, 6cc, 10cc, 12cc, 20cc, 30cc, 35cc, 50cc, and 60cc. Needles are available in sizes 18 gauge through 29 gauge in all lengths.
Devon Medical also offers companies a free private labeling option. Logos can be imprinted on boxes, outer packaging, and syringes.
