Aaron Medical Industries Inc.manufactures two groups of flexible lighting products under U.S. Patent #4,347,553 & 4,517,499. The first is available in three different flexible shaft lenghts 5", 10" & 15" (12.7, 25.4 & 38.1cm) and is supplied sterile for any surgical procedure requiring additional lighting. The second group of patented flexible lights are lighted stylets. By using the lighted stylet, the user is assured of the correct placement of the endotracheal tube when a bright glow in the midline of the layngeal prominence is seen.
Specialty lighting consists of the Ultra Violet Woods light (UV59) which is excellent for detecting certain skin disorders and for use in rape detection procedures.
The deluxe penlight (A238) looks as good as it works with its black anodized body and gold accents.
Other lights include the disposable penlight, replaceable battery penlight, plus a cobalt filter attachment and mirror.
