Flexible Foams

American Excelsior features flexible foams for product applications where cushioning is needed.

Polyurethane and polyethylene foams can be made in a variety of shapes and sizes through fabricating or molding processes. Most products can be coated with a washable coating or can be heat-laminated with fabric, thus eliminating the need for secondary operations and giving a permanent bond for the foam to fabric.

Through a compression molding technique, seams can be closed without the use of a machine sewing or stitching. This eliminates the possibility of loose seams or areas that could collect contaminates.

American Excelsior features Eco-Foam, a starch based foam that is biodegradable and water-soluble.
