Type FH4 self-clinching flush-head studs provide strong threads in stainless steel sheets as thin as .040"/1mm
Type FH4 self-clinching flush-head studs provide strong threads in stainless steel sheets as thin as .040"/1mm. Upon installation, the studs create a flush-head assembly and lock securely with high torque-out and pushout resistances without the risk of loosening or falling out. Because they are installed permanently, the studs reduce the amount of loose hardware to be handled during component assembly or disassembly.

Made from 400 Series stainless steel, the studs are indicated for use in stainless steel sheets with a hardness of HRB 92 or less. They are installed by placing them in punched or drilled holes in the sheet and squeezing them into place with a standard press. A flat punch and special anvil can be used to ensure proper installation.

The studs are available in unified thread sizes #4-40, #6-32, #8-32 and #10-32, and in metric thread sizes M3, M4 and M5. Lengths range from .250" to 1.5"/6mm to 35mm.
