Guidant to Acquire InControl

Guidant Corp. has signed agreement to acquire InControl Inc. for a total purchase price in excess of $135 million.

Guidant manufactures minimally invasive products and services for the treatment of cardiovascular and vascular disease. InControl manufactures devices for the treatment of atrial arrhythmias.
