Guidewire Profiler

Royal Master Grinders, Inc.ion 4 CNC guidewire profiler grinds wires to many configurations down to a diameter of 0.0014 in. The system features an eyebank with a sliding sensing system. Theinput rail is a tee bar indexed to the grinder, with index holes spaced at one-in. intervals into which the sensor assembly is keyed. During setup the operator is prompted as to which position to key the sensor assembly. The non-marring belt-type wire feeders are also keyed to the rail. When the wire cycle is complete the belt feeder will activate and express the wire back to the unloader venturi and the receiving bin.

The operating screens are designed in a full color windows format is fast, flexible and user friendly. The computer is loaded with one gigabyte hard drive and 32 MB of ram. The operator interacts with an industrial-grade keyboard, mouse/trackball and also "hot keys" on the keyboard. The system features set-up longevity up to 7,000 wires per blade; no backlash Roll Screw regulating; preloaded insert blades; and independent regulating wheel lateral adjustment.
