IASYS Healthcare Inc. Introduces VCare Connect

Conshohocken, PA - VIASYS Healthcare Inc. announced that its NeuroCare division, a world leader in diagnostic and monitoring equipment for neurology, will introduce its new VCare Connect service at the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) convention.

VCare Connect is an internet facilitated, remote service, diagnostic and monitoring tool that was specifically designed to work with VIASYS NeuroCare products. In addition to real-time remote communications and service, VCare Connect also allows VIASYS to deliver system software updates and upgrades without interruption to healthcare provider schedules. VCare Connect utilizes security protocols that work in conjunction with the customer's existing healthcare network infrastructure, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Remote diagnostic sessions occur over 128 bit SSL Encrypted links without requiring the use of a virtual private network (VPN) connection. Because VCare Connect was specifically designed to work with VIASYS NeuroCare products, the need for and reliance on off-the-shelf remote access software and complicated IT configurations is reduced.
