The new industrial keyboard Type A6 is MF2 and USB compatible; the keyboard automatically detects the available interface and configures itself accordingly. The keyboard Type A6 features the current MF layout, Windows function keys and Euro symbol, and comes with German or English legends as requested by the customer. Other country-specific versions are also available. The keyboard uses short-travel keyswitches RF 15 arranged under an overlay to ensure a distinct tactile feedback so that the keyboard can be operated reliably even when wearing gloves. A rugged metal housing protects the keyboard interior and, together with the closed membrane overlay surface, provides a water-jet proof design to the degree of protection IP 65 according to DIN. The industrial keyboard is available in three versions: as a housing version, as an integrated front panel version and as a 19 in. front panel keyboard with 4 height units for installation into 19 in. racks.
