Andersen Products manufactures and distributes surgical and infection control equipment and consumables. Our customer base includes a diverse group of over 6,000 healthcare and related facilities around the world, such as hospitals, day surgery centers, veterinary clinics, research laboratories and medical device manufacturers. Within the U.S., we deal directly with end-users, and through a select group of distributors. The company has also been successful overseas with large export markets in the Pacific Rim, Latin America and Europe. The Andersen group conducts business with distributors in over 70 countries.

The company was founded in 1958 by Dr. H. W. ("Bill") Andersen, a surgeon from New York. Over the years, the company has maintained its focus on providing leading-edge technology for niche healthcare applications.

Today, Andersen Products continues its focus on the success in the medical device manufacturing industry. We at Andersen Products are committed to serving the sterilization and consumable needs of healthcare facilities around the world. Through education and service we hope to couple your success with ours. Health Science Park, the group's headquarters, is located in North Carolina's Piedmont, between Chapel Hill and Burlington. It boasts over 80,000 square feet in six buildings of finished space devoted to manufacturing, quality assurance and laboratory, R&D, warehousing, sales/marketing and administrative offices. The plant is EPA- and FDA-registered, OSHA compliant and has recently received ISO 9002 certification. Approximately one hundred people are employed by Andersen companies, most of whom are based at the Haw River headquarters.
