Infolytica Corporation is a provider of E-M software for high and low frequency devices. Infolytica was the first company to be dedicated to providing affordable solutions for the Design Engineer. Dr. P. Silvester, Dr. E. Freeman and Dr. D. Lowther founded the company. In 1986, Dr. J. Webb joined the original trio of founders.

Since 1978, the original MagNet software evolved from a PDP version, into the new high power design tool designated MagNet Version 6. Recently, Infolytica added a high frequency analysis system, FullWave, to cover devices of microwave, communications and semiconductor industries. FullWave includes a unique resonance solver which elminates the need for time consuming full frequency sweeps.

MagNet, ElecNet (Electric Fields) and FullWave provide a two-dimensional and a full three-dimensional modeling system with a true Microsoft® Windows interface and rapid graphical feedback. This software is further enhanced with links to SIMEC and the Thermal package, ThermNet.

Infolytica's products are used widely in the design of high performance electromechanical products in industries such as aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, electrical appliances, medical heavy industry, power generating plants, instrumentation, communications and microwave device manufacturers. Infolytica software allows engineers to substantially reduce the prototyping time and eliminate major costs associated with prototyping.

Infolytica customers include leading electronics, telecommunication, motor and inductive heating manufacturers such as: General Electric, Hewlett Packard, Hughes Space, ABB, Inductotherm, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Samsung, Seagate Technology and Harman Motive.

For the last 22 years, Infolytica has been an innovative leader in the computer simulation of electromagnetic devices. With its new products it intends to lead the world of electromagnetic design into the twenty-first century.
