Intellution Announces POMS as MES Strategic Alliance Partner for Enterprise-wide Integration in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Intellution recognized that its customers required a leading MES package designed to meet specific challenges in the pharmaceutical industry on a global scale. POMS met all the MES partner requirements with its unique knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, especially in the commercial and clinical pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and specialty chemical areas.

The Intellution Dynamics and POMS MESTM solution provides a critical link in the manufacturing supply chain from the plant floor-enabling Optimized Manufacturing Execution by effectively controlling and managing plant operations in real-time. In addition to enterprise-wide integration, the Intellution and POMS MES solution gives the customer confidence that they can comply with government regulations with an off-the-shelf solution based on industry standards. Custom interfaces between the products are eliminated because both products are based on Microsoft's Windows DNA for Manufacturing technologies. In addition, industrial reliability and data integrity is maintained between the two applications because of Intellution Dynamics' iCore Plug and Solve foundation.

Baxter International, a leading pharmaceutical company in blood therapies, I.V. Systems/Medical Products, Renal and Cardiovascular businesses, expects to see increased productivity and return on investment from enterprise-wide solutions for manufacturing. Currently Baxter has implemented Intellution and POMS software solutions with CSC's enterprise integration services.
