Large Aperture Laser Power/Energy Sensor For Pulsed Lasers: L2000W-PF-120
The Ophir® L2000W-PF-120 is a water-cooled Laser Power/Energy Sensor designed for measuring large pulsed lasers. This thermal sensor measures powers from 1 W to 200 W and energies form 6 J to 6000 J over the spectral range of 0.3 µm to 2.2 µm. The sensor features a large 120 m aperture to accommodate for high energy densities and short pulses.
The L2000W-PF-120 has a fast, 7 second response time that balances the need to measure fast drifts and instabilities with the ability to handle high energy levels. The laser sensor is designed for use with large diameter pulsed ns or ps lasers. Such short pulses can induce optical damage. To address this, the sensor features a PF type volume absorber that can withstand higher average energies and energy densities, up to 3J/cm2.
